Installation guide

iPhone & iPad
  1. 1Open foundmylove.com in Safari – not in the Instagram or Facebook browser.
  2. 2Tap the three dots (…) at the bottom right, then “Share”. On older iPhones, tap the Share icon at the bottom (a square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. 3Scroll down a little and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
  4. 4If “Open as Web App” is shown, leave it switched on. Then tap “Add”.
  5. 5Open Foundmylove from the new icon, log in once and, when asked about notifications, tap “Turn on” and then “Allow”.
Android
  1. 1Open foundmylove.com in Chrome.
  2. 2Tap “Install app” – here on the page or in the ⋮ menu at the top right.
  3. 3Confirm with “Install”.
  4. 4Open Foundmylove from the new icon, log in once and, when asked about notifications, tap “Turn on” and then “Allow”.

Frequently asked questions about the app

Does the app cost anything?

No, the app is free. The same terms apply as on the website – Premium and credits are optional.

Do I need the App Store or Google Play?

No. Foundmylove is a web app: you install it straight from your browser to your home screen. It hardly needs any storage and is always up to date.

Will I get notifications on my iPhone?

Yes, from iOS 16.4. Open Foundmylove from the app icon on your home screen and allow notifications. You will then see who wrote to you – the message text is not shown.

Do I have to log in again in the app?

Just once. After that you stay logged in. Your profile, your chats and your credits are the same as on the website.

How do I remove the app?

Like any other app: press and hold the icon and choose “Remove App” or “Uninstall”. Your account stays as it is.
